No matter who you are or where you come from, you are connected to others through family. Everyone's "family picture" looks different and there has never been a time when that is more true than now. This is both good and bad. is both good and bad.
Good because we've grown as a society and have come to realize that creating a family and raising children requires support, encouragement and knowlege.
Bad because we've become a 'quick-fix' society where marriage is no longer sacred and children are expected to deal with less hands-on parenting because of increased responsibilities of parents.
"Other things may change us, but we start and end with family."
My goal is to help families slow down and nurture each other in order to strengthen the family foundation so that children are provided the very best in order to become successful people of the world.
One of the ways I help families is through my weekly call-in radio show on BlogTalkRadio called Family Focus. Each week a different guest joins me to discuss issues that affect today's families while providing information and solutions. All episodes are archived.
